Y2K Power
Ephesians 1:19-23
Outline for January 2, 2000
The Holy Bible, King James Version
Ephesians 1:19 through Ephesians 1:23 (KJV)
19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to
us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20Which
he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at
his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21Far above all
principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named,
not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22And
hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head
over all things to the church, 23Which is his body, the
fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Over the past few weeks power has been the topic of conversation around the world. Specifically, would we LOSE power when Y2K rolled around. Well, the New Year has arrived, and the power is still on.
Yet, even if the power had gone off, the Y2K Power would still be going strong. You see for us to succeed in the new millennium and beyond we have to recognize the true source of our power. We have a source of power available to us that is more reliable and steadfast than any power system created by earthly hands. It is a power that may be unlike anything you have ever experienced before. It is the very power of God, creator of the universe and all things in it.
